Dark Rose drops us this warning from Cyber Space -- literally!
I have come here to tell you of the terrible things that it has done to me and hope it will
never do to you….
I was ten years old when I first set eyes on the Sonic R game. I had just received the
cursed game for my birthday and was elated to find that it featured Sonic in another hi-
speed game. I quickly opened the box and gently pulled out the CD case containing
the game. After installing the game to my computer I clicked the icon twice and began
playing Sonic R. Soon I was hooked on the game -- I spent hours on end racing
around the tracks, finding balloons, and unlocking each character one by one. The
Tails Doll interested me the most and I used it often. Sometimes I hummed "Can You
Feel the Sunshine" over and over until someone yelled at me to stop. One day though
after doing an all nighter on the computer trying to win the last race in order to
complete the game, I found that the game and its case had disappeared. I asked my
parents if they had moved it but they said that they hadn't seen it since yesterday.
After searching for the game for hours, I retreated up to my room and laid down on my
bed in defeat. "Where could it have gone," I thought "It's like it never existed…and I
was so close!" I yawned sleepily. "so close…to beating the game." Just before I drifted
off I thought I saw the Tails Doll hovering above my bed, its eyes fixed right on me.
It was three years later after I lost the game and not much had changed, except for the
fact that I had moved on from Sonic and was more interested in Shadow, old habits die
hard I guess, my mom and I had moved after she left my father and taken me with her.
After setting almost every thing up, I spotted a box placed curiously in the corner.
Opening it up with ease I found my old Sonic R game placed right in the middle, it was
odd how it was the only item in the box and how it just suddenly appeared after three
years, but I didn't care -- I was just happy to have found it again. After booting up my
old computer and putting the CD in the slot I hesitated before clicking the icon,
something was telling me that something wasn't right, that if I finished this game
something bad would happen. Shaking the feeling off, I half-convinced myself it was
just a game and nothing more. I started playing..
An hour later I had completed the game and unlocked the last character. It had almost
seemed like Super Sonic was actually trying to mess me up so I could lose, but with my
already-great gaming skills I passed the finish a second before he did. I leaned back
in my chair as it prepared to switch to the screen that showed who won and who lost
but instead the picture began to blur and change until the picture showed a black and
white field of grass. Farther away in the back appeared was the Tails Doll. My hands
tightened around the chairs arms. "What the hell?!" I thought. The haunting melody of
"Can You Feel the Sunshine" played softly from my speakers making the scene seem
even more eerie. As the doll began floating towards me, its red jewel bobbing up and
down, its body swaying back and forth, my eyes stayed transfixed on the screen
unable to pull away. Soon it had drifted so close that I close I could make out every
detail of the deranged plush fox. "You May have won the race but I am the real
winner." The voice had come from the Tails Doll, but bypassed my ears and was
heard directly in my head. Without warning the fox lunged at me and into my body, I let
out a piercing scream and passed out.
The smell of blood aroused me from my sleep.
I gasped in horror as I looked around in shock to see blood was splattered all across
the room. Some had been used to write "Tails Doll" on the wall. That's when I saw her.
My mother was lying next to me, a large amount of blood surrounded her butchered
body and in her hands was the Tails Doll. I threw up immediately, not being able to
handle the sight. When I looked at my hands I saw I was holding a large butcher's
knife completely coated in blood -- my mothers blood! I threw it away instantly and
began crying uncontrollably. I had to leave. I couldn't stay there; the pain was too
great. I stumbled back to my computer and stared at the screen it was still showing
that same field but everything was in color. "Please," I sobbed, "just take me away." A
bright light overtook the room, when it faded away I was gone.
I live here now, in this world. The Flickies fly beside me as I walk through the fields of
grass, Sonic and all the other characters live here too. They tried to keep me from
finishing the game to save me, but now…it is too late. As I look up towards the glorious
sun I wonder how such a horrible creature was spawned from this place. I beg of you
do not play the Sonic R game, but if you do, heed the warnings from the characters.
The Tails Doll works in different ways -- he may kill you, or he might kill the ones you
love. In truth I don't know what the Tails Doll's motives are, but the only thing you need
to know is that the Tails Doll is pure evil and will stop at nothing to get what it wants.
And yes, I can feel the sunshine…

BlackMageRulz101 sent us this report on the Doll, God rest his soul...
The horror of the Tails doll knows no end. No matter what you do, it will find you. But
you never know what it will do. Sometimes it does good things for you. Sometimes it
lies dormant in your body, waiting to wake up. Other times, it will kill you. As for me, I
was lucky. I never unlocked the damn thing, drew a picture of it, or write a story arc on
it. I was close to completing the game on Sonic Gems Collection but luck was on my
side. I was going to play it again but Katrina had prevented me from getting my
Gamecube and all of my games and memory cards. That means Tails Doll has no way
of getting to me. I'm safe and I have found crucial information on how to get Shadow
into this realm. You must say the following: Shadow come forth from your world we
need you to stop the terror that is tails doll and save the world from his clutches by my

Spirit teaches us that sisters gotta have your back...
This is my story of the closest encounter of the Tails Doll. I was at one of my friend's
houses for a play day. He had a Saturn and a 99% completed Sonic R. I begged him
to his limit to play it, so we did.
I didn't know about the curse and I just choose the Tails Doll. That is my only regret in
life I want to change. When I went home I played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on my
Gamecube. When I played the final boss and I was using Super Shadow when my
phone rang. I let it go and the answering machine picked it up.
This is what it said:
"I know where you live."
Then the Sonic R Theme started playing. At the same time the screen on the TV
started to flicker. On it was the Tails Doll. I was alone at the time. I tried to
scream but my throat suddenly hurt. I couldn't talk. My entire body became numb and I
fell to the ground lifelessly. I was still breathing but I couldn't close my eyes.
The Tails Doll walked up the stairs to me, holding a knife. It was about to pierce me in
the heart when my sister ran in. She saw what was happening and kicked the doll
away. I was numb for an hour as my sister guarded me. She had thrown the doll in the
fire to keep me safe.
I was spared by God.

Poor Susie sends us this tale. She really deserves a medal....
It was another day at my house. I was combing my hair in front of my mirror and my
younger brother, Alex, was playing Sonic R like it was the only video game that existed.
I had heard all the rumors about the Tails Doll curse, and so had Alex, but he always
shunned them as "superstitious oatmeal."
Nothing was out of the ordinary until I glanced in my mirror again- and nearly fell to the
floor.
Why? The reflection gave me a perfect view of Alex and the Sega Saturn. Behind Alex
was what looked like the Tails Doll himself, sneaking up behind Alex to kill him.
I turned and looked at Alex, but the doll was gone.
Looking back in my mirror, I saw the Tails Doll behind Alex again. I grabbed my
hairbrush and, using the mirror's reflection as a guide, threw it at the Tails Doll.
The hairbrush passed right through that red bulb thing on the doll's head, and he
vanished.
Alex paused the game and turned to look at me. "Susie, why in the world did you throw
that hairbrush at me?" When I explained, he just laughed. "The Tails Doll junk again?
That's just superstitious oatmeal!"
I folded my arms. "Well, that 'superstitious oatmeal' almost killed you. You should
thank me for saving my life!"
To this day, Alex still doesn't believe me.

Mark Radical got up close and personal (very personal), and actually lived to tell
about it, as we see in this submission.....
I always play Sonic R like mad. I really love it. Never have I had any run-ins with the
infamous "curse", except for one day at the school prom …
As I entered homeroom a few days before the prom, I found a note on my chair. It said:
"I saw you at school yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about you! Please go to the
prom with me; my number is below."
There was a phone number on the note, and it was signed "Dot Lisall". I had not
known any Dot Lisall, but I couldn't get any other date for the prom, so I went with it.
Upon getting home, I called the number and connected with Dot almost immediately.
We arranged for us to meet outside the auditorium; I asked how I'd recognize her, and
she said she'd be carrying a game manual for Sonic R.
I was ecstatic. I had a date who liked Sonic R as much as I did! I agreed to the date,
and mentioned that I'd be carrying a game manual for that game as well.
When I got to the prom, I saw Dot in person. She had yellow hair, and wore a mostly
yellow outfit. The red ruby pendant around her neck was particularly beautiful.
We danced together for who knows how long, and she was a lovely dancer. Several
times, she approached the stage and asked the band to play "Can You Feel the
Sunshine" or "Living In The City". The band gave her funny looks every time, and I
don't blame them.
After the dance, we went off in opposite directions. When I got home, I was practically
in love with Dot Lisall. I spelled out DOT LISALL with my old alphabet blocks.
I had to get in touch with Dot again. I went to the guidance office the next day and
asked about Dot Lisall, but no student by that name was in the school. The closest
they could come was Todd Lissinger.
Once I got home, I called Dot's number again, but the number was out of service. I
called the operator and asked about the number, only to be told that nobody had that
number.
My sister, meanwhile, had noticed something odd about the alphabet blocks. She
called me over to look, then rearranged the blocks bit by bit, and soon the message
began to take shape:
DOT LISALL
DOTLI SALL
DATLI SOLL
TADLI SOLL
TASLI DOLL
TAILS DOLL
I had spent the prom dancing with a curse.

This one comes from freaky Final Beyond...
Well, I read the site. I read that the Tails Doll curse did not affect Gems Collection.
Well, have I got a tale for you.
I loaded Sonic R, and as it began to load, I took in the music, singing along faintly.
"Can you feel the sunshine, does it brighten up your day..."
Wait, hold on a sec, I thought.
That music only plays in Resort Island! I looked up, and instead of the usual loading
screen, there was just a red shine in the center of the screen, and the word "soon".
Creeped out by this, I turned off the PS2, and went downstairs onto my computer, and
started work on a sprite comic. The frame I was working on featured a few characters
facing a group of about 30 assorted sprites. One of these 30 was a Tails Doll sprite,
that I had saved a few months ago. Only trouble is, the Doll was not meant to be in the
comic. I looked, and then there were more Tails Dolls in the crowd, until the entire
screen was filled with the infernal creatures!
I reset the computer in a panic, and when I logged back on, my entire Sonic folder had
been wiped, save for one picture.
The Tails Doll... And the message..."More to come."
Don't be fooled by the advertising -- the curse haunts Gems Collection.
Hmm, I'll be back in a second -- I think my Sonic plushie fell off the shelf.
Wait... Thats not a Sonic pl...

This nightmarish nugget comes from Xtra. We wish him luck...
I was playing some Sonic Gems Collection before I left for work. Since I had little time
to play games, I haven't done much in Sonic R yet. But one day, I decided to go and
get the Tails Doll.
I knew about the curse behind the Tails Doll, but I heard that Sonic Gems Collection is
safe. So I had no worries as I collected the coins with Tails. After collecting the coins
and unlocking the Tails Doll, I saved and left for work.
When I came back, I saw my sister playing my gamecube. But what surprised me was
what I saw on the screen. She was playing Radiant Emerald, using the Tails Doll, and
was chasing after the other secret characters in the Tag 4 characters game.
Did she complete it 100% while I was at work?
Then she turned towards me. Her eyes were glazed over, like she was hypnotized.
And the sides of her face were all stitched, like she was a doll.
"My master will soon be free. Once he catches Super Sonic, he will break Miyamoto's
seal," she said.
I tried to wrestle the controller from her, but she was able to easily push me back. I
watched helplessly, as Super Sonic was touched.
The screen went blank, as the Tails Doll used the energy taken from Super Sonic to
break the seal. He floated towards me, as I held my breath. I was waiting for him to use
his SLLLLUUUUURRRRPPPYYY on me.
But it never came.
"I have no need for you," he said. "I have your sister, and the seal is broken."
He went back to wherever he came from, with my sister in tow.
Since then, I have been trying to collect Time Stones in Sonic CD, so I can reverse
what the Tails Doll as done.
Will I succeed?
Time will tell...

This story comes from Mary Zenninger, who had a Tails Doll Christmas caper...
I am the mother of an only child, a daughter. Her name is Sue. She plays Sonic R like
mad, and I must admit, so do my husband and I.
It's not all fun and games, though.
One day on Christmas Eve, the tree was decorated, the stockings were hung, and
everything was ready for Christmas.
We had just finished a three-way multiplayer race of Sonic R. (My husband won, but
that's not relevant.) Sue said she wanted to stay up late so she could take a photo of
Santa when he came.
My husband and I talked with each other, and decided to let her. We removed the
Sonic R disk from the Saturn, though, so she wouldn't try that.
The next morning, my husband and I rushed down to see how things turned out. Sue
cheered that she'd gotten the photo, so we told her we'd get the film developed right
after checking our stockings.
To our shock and horror, all the stockings were filled with … copies of Sonic R. There
must have been fifty of those games altogether.
We didn't know what else to do, so we gave out the copies to our friends and
neighbors after taking the film to Fotomat.
When the film was developed the next day, Sue opened the envelope and withdrew
the picture she'd taken of Santa. When we looked at it, we screamed unanimously.
There, dressed in Santa's hat and clothes … was the Tails Doll.
My husband, Sue, and I all looked at each other. "Well, I guess that explains all the
copies of Sonic R," I said with a laugh.
The only thing scarier than the Tails Doll is the Tails Doll wearing a Santa outfit. Take
my word for it; I've seen both.
-Mary Zenninger
P.S. All those copies of Sonic R from our stockings were just as safe as those you
could purchase from a store. Not that THAT's very safe.

Tim Allegro gives us this Tails Doll Halloween horror...
My story's setup is the same as any about the "curse": I was a huge fan of Sonic R,
and had beaten it 100%. I was hooked.
As it happened, my school was hosting a Halloween party that night on the sports
field. I decided to go as the Tails Doll. I prepared a costume, wore it, and off I went.
By a strange coincidence (or was the you-know-what-doll playing with fate?), my
friends- Sam, Steven, Edward, and Kevin- were dressed as Metal Sonic, Super Sonic,
the EggRobo, and Metal Knuckles, in respective order.
I decided to have a little fun, and suggested that we play "Tag 4 Characters" on the
jogging track. I was "it". Everyone else got a five-second head start, then I dashed off.
To boot, the party's DJ got in on the fun and played none other than "Living in the
City" from the Sonic R soundtrack.
I managed to tag everyone. I forget the order, but I know I got Steven last. Everyone
cheered, and we regrouped at the punch table.
After the party was over, I tried to take off my costume, but I couldn't. Something- or
someone- had merged me with it. I immediately phoned my friends and asked them to
come over, and their situation was the same: their costumes had been infused into
their bodies, rendering them impossible to take off.
"Can you do something to get these stupid costumes off, Tim?" Kevin demanded. "I
don't wanna be stuck as Metal K forever!"
"I think this is all my fault," I advised everyone. "I don't know what I can do to reverse
this … Wait! I just had an idea!"
Approaching my Sega Saturn, I booted it up and did the only thing I could think of that
could possibly undo the curse. I deleted my save file for Sonic R.
Amazingly, it worked. The costumes came off immediately. My friends said they'd keep
them for next year, but I didn't. I burned mine, so nothing like this would ever happen
again.
Deleting your Sonic R save file may have worked for me, but don't expect it to work for
you. In fact, I doubt it'll work for me next time; the Doll wouldn't make the same mistake
two times in a row.
Curses don't take holidays off. Especially when the holiday in question is Halloween.

"Charizard" here is a fan with a bit of a skeptic in him. Now, he's got something even
worse in there...
"Superstitious oatmeal! That's awesome! I've gotta get a phrase like that."
"A lot of good that'll do you when you get possessed by the Tails Doll."
"Now what kind of phrase? Hokum donuts? Bogus pizza? Scam cheeseburgers?"
"Are you listening to me?!?"
"No."
I loved reading this page called "Tails from the Crypt". It was all these stories about
how the Tails Doll, a creature in the Sonic racing game, Sonic R. Supposedly, if you
beat the game with 100 percent completion, you would:
a. Go insane,
b. Be brutally murdered,
c. Brutally murder people,
d. Be possessed by the Tails Doll,
~or~
e. Become his slave for all eternity.
My friend actually believed these stories. I had beaten Sonic R a few months ago in
Sonic Gems. Now, it was time for Tag 4 Characters. If I disproved the "tagging Super
Sonic with Tails Doll releases TD into the real world", I would shatter the hold these
stories had over his mind. So, late that night, we booted up Gems and selected Sonic
R. Or at least, I thought it was him. I could barely see him through the toy Chaos
Emeralds, Sonic plushies, garlic, and printouts of lengthy, arcane incantations. I
convinced him to get rid of most of it (he insisted on keeping my Sonic plushie out).
We started.
I chased Super Sonic. Boy, was he tough to catch. But he slipped up (it was snowing)
and I caught him. I turned to my friend. "See? Nothing," I said.
But I was wrong. As I turned around, there he was. The Tails Doll. My friend held up
my Sonic plushie like a cross and shouted something very fast in Japanese. I grabbed
my Ph34r Bat from under the couch and started beating the evil stuffed fox. Somehow,
my friend's chant seemed to keep the plush of doom in place. I shouted for him to stop
the chant. He (somewhat reluctantly) did. I batted the Tails Doll back into the TV,
which went dark. I turned back to my friend. "See? Tails Doll was a--" I felt a sharp tug
and I was now inside the TV. Somehow now, we were in Sonic the Fighters. The arena
was a digitized version of my living room. Tails Doll rushed at me. I swung my bat. He
hit. I missed. He knocked me onto the ground and leapt on me (well, technically, right
above me). His jewel glowed. I was getting weaker and weaker. Soon, I couldn't move. I
heard a horrible sound.
"Schlu-"
Or at least the start thereof. All of a sudden, it was drowned out by a loud, booming
chant. It was my friend, though it was a slower, different chant this time. I got stronger
again. I sat up, which alone knocked the Tails Doll flying. Now, he was growing weaker
and I was growing stronger. I picked him up and leapt back through the television so I
was back in the real world. I threw the Tails Doll at my GameCube. The doll vaporized
on impact.
The next day, I talked to my friend about what happened inside the TV. He says that I
now have the Tails Doll's life force inside me. Which means that the Tails Doll might be
able to find a way to possess me at any time. My friend is working on a way to get its
life force out of me. I don't know if I really want that. Even though his speaking those
chants makes me get the effect partially (if he uses the freezing one, I'll move slower),
I'm faster, stronger, smarter... More powerful in general. I think I may pass on the
whole "life force purification" thing for now.
P.S. Here's the chant that makes the Tails Doll freeze: Just say "Sonic the Hedgehog"
in Japanese over and over.

Spirit returns to tell us that the situation has worsened....
It's me, Spirit again. It seems that the Tails Doll made me an essential target. I have
had encounters with him in public but he hasn't tried to kill me. Here's more.
After the incident, he went after my sister. I had been with my big
sister alone. My parents and little sister had gone to get me Sonic
Heroes. We were watching some episodes of SatAM.
We were at the episode "Super Sonic" when we noticed there was a red jewel and two
blue eyes. They went after Sally in the episode, it wasn't suppose to happen. After a
while we saw the Tails Doll. The TV started to get static and the other appliances
started to go on the fritz.
The appliances started to combine and shape into a metal Tails
Doll! The thing attacked me but my sister took a lighter and stuck it in its eye socket. It
burst into flames.
The flames disappeared after 10 seconds and it started to melt slowly. It started to
move a bit slower every second. It threw some of it's metal coating at my sister, which
sunk into her skin.
The metal started to spread on her skin and she began to look like a standing metal
female fox with cloths on. Everything on her, including herself, shrunk to doll size. She
became a lifeless metal doll in front of me.
I started to cry and the Tails Doll fell into bits of metal. That is how I lost my sister who
saved me. After that, I often see a red jewel
and two eyes in every dark alley.
I hope you will share this with everyone.
-Spirit

Lina "the Hedgehog" lets us in on the mysterious fate of her dear friend Kayla...
I never believed in the curse of the Tails Doll. I never bought Sonic R for the Saturn,
but i DID get Gems Collection for the Game Cube. I played Sonic R first, but I wasn't
good at it, and soon got bored. I lent it to my friend Kayla, because she's a video
game genius.
A few days later, I got an IM from Kayla telling me that she beat Sonic R and had
unlocked all of the characters, including that god-forsaken Tails Doll. She told me that
she wanted to go and try something on 2 player tag mode, and that she'd be right
back. About 10 minutes later, she got back, and the first thing she said would haunt
me for the rest of my life-
"Can you feel the Sunshine?"
I asked her what she was talking about, but all she said was "Can you feel the
Sunshine?" It was all that she could say. Kayla wasn't at school the next day. Or the
day after that. Or the day after that. They say she either killed herself or she ran
away. All that was left was a note attached to my disc-
Can you feel the Sunshine?
I can.

Horrific "Haunted Kai" shows us what happens to doubting players...
It was kind of spooky actually...When the Sonic Gems Collection came out... I used to
be a Tails Doll lover… it was cute…I couldn't resist…I never heard of the curse until
now…I feel so sorry for what happened that day.
I had a friend who played Sonic R on the Gems Collection. She's in the hospital, now.
Somebody else who played it, wound up the same. In fact, there after 10 injuries total,
I called my friend who was sick and couldn't go to school. He said he was playing
Sonic R -- that wretched thing!
"Dude! You haven't you heard about the injured players?"
"Ha! It must have been accidents or something. The curse isn't true," he told me.
"Curse?"
"Yeah, whoever plays as Tails Doll gets cursed. What a load of bull!"
"......"
As we talked, I heard his TV start playing "Can You Feel the Sunshine."
He screamed in shock.
I heard something go "Shcrumpchy..." Or something....
"TAIL DOLL TAILS DOLL."
I hung up after that. It was so scary; I slept with my mother that night...
I'm only 13 so....
After the next day, he was in the hospital with stomach stab wound.
Now, I'm warning you, do not play this game! Throw it away, burn it....DO
SOMETHING!!!!! PLEASE!

"The_Doctor" has the cure for the chills -- even more of them!
My story will shock you to the core.
It started two weeks ago, after just reliving some classic moments in Sonic Mega
Collection, I made it my goal to acquire every single Sonic game known to mankind.
What a fool I was.
My first game that I purchased since the Sonic Mega Collection was, as if by fate,
Sonic R for the PC.
I played it, and beat the game easily with every character (Including the Tails Doll) in
less than a day.
Remember, this is two weeks ago.
Over the next week, I continued to use all the money I had from various jobs to
complete my collection. (I even found an old Sega Saturn, and Mega drive, at a car
boot sale)
I brought Sonic R for the Saturn, but never played it.
It was time for me to go into the new games…
I brought Sonic Adventure 1 + 2, and then went on to purchase Heroes.
And then… Sonic Gems Collection came out.
Now it's exactly one week since I brought Sonic R, and Sonic Gems.
I noticed Sonic R on the list of games, and groaned; "Why is this here?" I asked no
one in particular, before selecting it.
The screen fuzzed, and died.
My PC switched to life, and I saw Radical City at the starting line.
I looked at my new Sonic collection, and hastily opened the box of PC Sonic R.
The disc was in the box.
I sat down in front of the PC, tried every way I knew to turn it off… But none worked.
And then, I saw him running.
The words; "Lap 7" appeared on the screen, and I realized that it was indeed my
seventh day since my first play.
He ran, in that slow dancing style, towards me. And then stopped at the screen.
Staring.
I blinked. He did not.
His eyes we're cold and lifeless.
The jewel on his head glowed, and then faded.
I turned off the screen, and ran from my room in a hurry.
I approached my parents, and told them of the horrible sight and they came to my
room.
There was nothing on the screen.
My PC was taken away from me by choice, and is now locked away in the attic to this
day.
But that was merely my first encounter.
At school the next day, I sat in my seat and looked at the black board.
The teacher started to draw a sketch, and when he stopped, he shook his head and
fell into his seat.
We crowded around him, terrified that he was hurt. He claimed he felt faint and
muttered something about the chalk.
I looked at the board.
It was the Tails Doll. Staring at my seat.
The next day, I found the courage to play Sonic Gems Collection, and stayed away
from Sonic R and instead played CD.
When I had completed it, and it was the end FMV sequence with the long version of
"Sonic Boom", I sighed and lay back to watch the credits.
I was once again the best.
As it came to the scene with Sonic racing Metal Sonic, the screen froze and it
shuddered and twisted into the end scenes of Sonic R when you completed it with
Tails Doll.
And he was holding something.
Sonic R for the Saturn.
I realized it was the only one I had not played, and in doing so it had sparred my life.
Gems and the PC version had given it two thirds of its power, in less than two weeks,
and unless I play Sonic R for the Saturn in the THIRD week… I am safe.
So, word of advice…
With the Tails Doll now split in three, do not try and complete its power in the same
number of weeks.
Or you to will see the laps…
...and feel the sunshine.

"Angelic" sends us this bizarre tale. Poor guy. If there's one thing worse then the Tails
Doll, it's many Tails Dolls!
I beat Sonic R in one hour as Sonic and Knuckles, and was going to play my copy pf
Sonic Heroes when I noticed something strange. On the back there were some extra
team names and pics of them. This is three of them.
Team Cybertech (which had several fan characters of mine)
Team Tails Doll
Team Metalix
When I started the game up, it said to press A, R, L, B, Y, Z, and A in that order. When
I pressed it during the title screen, it went to one player mode, and challenge mode
was replaced with "Story Mode 2." I selected that mode, and several teams (about 8)
were available. Most consisted of Sonic fan characters. Some weren't even mine.
However, two were real Sonic characters.
To my horror, Team Tails Doll consisted of three Tails Dolls. Team Metalix had Metal
Sonic, Robo Knux, and Tails Doll. All four Tails Dolls were glaring at me, ready to
attack, though they didn't. I heard a strange voice, similar to Shadow's, but more faint
and in a way suited Tails Doll.
The voice came from the first Tails Doll! It wasn't in my head either. "You have broken
one of the many seals that restrain me from escaping. I shall spare you, and reward
you, but there is a price,"
I didn't listen to the monstrosity, thinking this was just in my head. I
selected Team Cybertech, and started in a new area called New Cybertech. The
mission was to "escape New Cybertech!". When I played, the area was a futuristic
area, similar to the third level in Sonic Heroes. As Regal, which was my speed
character, was attacked by a new enemy, I felt a sharp pain in my left arm, which was
the same place the enemy attacked Regal.
I continued through the stage, and lost a life. I quit and switched to
Team Tails Doll. Things were only stranger when I used this team. It was easier
though, as any enemy in a 10 feet radius was instantly destroyed. When I beat it,
three Tails Dolls were behind me, and "Living In The City" played.
They tried to kill me, though I was able to dodge them. I noticed a katana near me --
one I swore I had sold 2 or 3 years ago. I picked it up, and stabbed one of the
creatures, making it dissolve. I attacked the other two, destroying them as well.
More started to come though, and I destroyed them all. Living In The City then
stopped. More Tails Dolls started to come each day, and I destroy them all. Yet more
almost kill me each time. Never play Sonic R and beat it with Sonic and Knuckles, or
face what happened to me.
